Tori + Steven: A NYE Wedding at The State Room Boston

As the countdown to the New Year approaches, there’s no better way to welcome fresh beginnings than with a stunning wedding reception. Imagine this: an elegant venue, sweeping views of the Boston skyline, and a vibrant atmosphere filled with excitement and joy. A New Year's Eve wedding at State Room Boston combines romance and with a front row view of the Boston fireworks to celebrate the beginning of a new chapter.

Working with T+S was not just a blast because of their sparkling personalities, but i've known the Bride since she was very little and used to be her dance teacher back when we were growing up. From the moment we started, I knew it was going to be a special experience. We both had a love for all things sparkly and over the top, and what better night of the year to celebrate that than NYE?

When we had our initial design meeting, we all agreed we wanted to have all the glamour of NYE, without the stereotypical black, white and gold design palette. Tori loved bright pinks and the groom loved navy, so we curated a navy, pink and black palette completely unique to their own aesthetics. The modern take on glamarous inspired by a navy and black tux and bright pink florals perfectly blended with moments of sparkle and shimmer throughout the details for the perfect "sophisticated sassy" aesthetic that we coined along the way.

The vision was brought to life through an incredibly collaborative process with contributions from an all-star vendor team. The stunning acrylic, one of a kind invitations design by Serif + Sans; the stunning beaded sequin overlay from BBJ Linen; the elegant candleabras and sleek black serpentine table from Dez Collective; the magnificient floral installtions from Flou(e)r at every corner; an impressive espresso martini ice luge; and firework projections matching the cities firework display from Design Light. Each of these elements were essential to the breathtaking evening celebration Tori + Steven.

With the entire production hosted by the State Room Boston and Longwood Venue + Destinations, serving an iconc meal guests were raving about and the entire evening beautifull captured by Emily Figuerlli and Vargus Videography; this was truly on for us to remember forever.
