As a wedding planners, we have had the pleasure of being a part of some truly magical celebrations, but Giuliana and Chris' New Year's Eve Wedding was something special. From heartfelt moments to non-stop dancing, it was an evening filled with love, sparkle, and an epic party!
From the moment guests arrived at The Intercontinental, they knew they were in for a night to remember. They kicked off the festivities with live oyster shuckers, a live risotto station, and espresso martinis flowing, but our favorite part of Cocktail Hour was their custom Escort Card Wall with mini disco balls, guiding guests to their seats with a touch of sparkle.
As guests made their way into the ballroom for dinner and dancing, they were greeted by elegant black and gold decor, accented by their black and white dancefloor with a custom disco ball installation—the perfect backdrop for a night of dancing and celebration. The dance floor was packed all night long with their DJ, accompanied by both a live saxophonist and drummer combination that kept the energy high.
One of our favorite parts of the night was a Glitter Bar where guests could add a little extra sparkle to themselves with body glitter—a huge hit with all of their guests (and vendors too)!
As midnight approached, guests were given hats, glasses, and New Year's Eve accessories in preparation for the countdown. And when the clock struck midnight, a confetti cannon showered the room with sparkly confetti, marking the start of a new year and a new chapter in Giuliana and Chris' love story. In the end, Giuliana and Chris didn't just throw a wedding—they threw the party of a lifetime.
